abstract
2015, The Optical Society of India. Using the balance principle and the F-expansion method, we find dark soliton solutions in a general nonlocal nonlinear optical model with a diffusive type of nonlinearity. These solutions are modeled by numerical simulation, in order to study how they propagate and interact with each other. Our results show that the multidimensional nonlocal solitary waves can be manipulated and controlled by changing the degree of nonlocality and the diffraction coefficient.
