abstract
A measurement system has been developed for measuring two-phase flow in a vertical pipe. The system includes a method to measure the continuous liquid velocity field in a 2-D vertical plane in the center of the pipe, as well as a method for three-dimensional measurement of the displacement, volume, etc. of the dispersed phase. The components of the measurement system are briefly discussed, and the procedure used in analyzing the continuous liquid velocity data is described.
