abstract
Two microprocessor-based methods for real-time simulation of power electronic systems are described. In the first method, the system is treated as a digital filter. The switching elements of the system are modeled as logic controllers which change the topology of the system digital filter equivalent. In the second method, the system is treated as a state-space object. The simulation consists of implementing the behavior of the system on each state axis on a dedicated processor. The overall system behavior is obtained by the interconnection of the state computers according to the system topology.
