abstract
The effects of feeding lincomycin and roxarsone in combination with monensin were evaluated in broilers from 0 to 7 weeks of age at 5 geographic locations. This report contains data from one of those locations. A total of 800 sex separated Indian River Broilers were assigned to 4 treatments in a randomized block design. Each floor pen housed 25 males and 25 females on wood shavings litter. All 4 dietary treatments contained 110 grams of monensin per ton of feed. One treatment contained an additional 4 grams per ton of lincomycin and another contained 45 grams of roxarsone per ton of feed. The final treatment contained all 3 additives at the above mentioned levels. A 3 phase feeding program was used. Feed and water were provided ad libitum.
