abstract
We propose a rateless coded protocol for a half-duplex wireless relay channel where all links experience independent quasi-static Rayleigh fading. The protocol utilizes a combination of rateless coded decode-forward and compress-forward relaying schemes. Assuming very limited feedback from the destination, we derive the theoretical performance limits specifically with BPSK modulation. We then implement the rateless coded relaying protocol using carefully designed Raptor codes. 2010 IEEE.
