Asymmetric code design for remote multiterminal source coding Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • Asymmetric code design for remote multiterminal source coding was demonstrated. Theoretical bounds were derived for remote multiterminal source coding to achieve the minimum sum rate of the two independent encoders. A uniformly distributed dither was added to make the quantization noise independent of the input signal in Wyner-Ziv coding and uniform-threshold quantizers were used. The results show that only 0.21 dB is lost at a correlation-SNR of 15 dB and 0.47dB at 22 dB.
