abstract
Asymmetric code design for remote multiterminal source coding was demonstrated. Theoretical bounds were derived for remote multiterminal source coding to achieve the minimum sum rate of the two independent encoders. A uniformly distributed dither was added to make the quantization noise independent of the input signal in Wyner-Ziv coding and uniform-threshold quantizers were used. The results show that only 0.21 dB is lost at a correlation-SNR of 15 dB and 0.47dB at 22 dB.
