The "Pulsation" of an atomic wave packet Academic Article

abstract

• We show an interesting phenomenon of "pulsation" of an atomic wave packet in a resonant atom-field interaction. We provide a simple and intuitive interpretation of the phenomenon in the dressed-state picture.
