TOPOLOGICAL W-INFINITY AND WN GRAVITIES FROM FLAT SL(INFINITY,R) CONNECTIONS Academic Article

abstract

• The theory of flat SL(N, R) connections has been proposed as a definition of topological WN gravity. By taking a certain contraction of this algebra in the N limit, we use this description to construct a free-field realisation of topological w gravity. The resulting theory an be truncated to obtain topological WN gravity for arbitrary N. 1991.
