abstract
The stability of a discrete-time control system subject to structured perturbations is studied. The coefficients of the closed-loop characteristic polynomial of the system are assumed to be affine functions of a set of real plant parameters. The closed-loop characteristic polynomial is rewritten as a linear combination of polynomials, and, using these polynomials, the minimum l2variation of parameter values before the characteristic polynomial becomes unstable is calculated.
