abstract

  • We present multi-cut Forced Impulse Method (FIM) cross sections for the double ionization of helium by antiprotons in the energy range 12-1000 keV/amu. These ab initio theoretical cross sections largely reproduce experiments. The necessity of including intermediate dynamic correlation in the theoretical description is made manifest. 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
