Ramanspectroscopy is an efficient optical technique used to identify andgrade cancer on thebasis of themolecular composition of the cell. In this work Raman spectroscopy is used to study the chemical alteration occurring inside a prostate cancer cell as a result of a treatment with a low-concentration aqueous extract of Nerium Oleander. The results show that Nerium Oleander affects the protein and lipid concentration of cancer cells. 2009 JohnWiley & Sons, Ltd.
