  • 2015 SPIE. The timeerature effects of laser radiation exposure are investigated as a function of wavelength. We experimentally measure the thermal response of tissue to laser radiation ranging in wavelength from 1100 nm to 1550 nm. Simulations were then performed to estimate damage thresholds.
