abstract
This paper investigates the error magnitudes when incoherent combining is performed under ambiguity. One obvious solution to eliminate the ambiguities in image processing or array processing is to use kernel density estimates such as histogram. This correspondence in particular focuses on the spatial aliasing in arrays and derives an approximate error magnitude which although is not strictly a bound but provides good information regarding the nature of the aliasing error in a more quantitative format. 2007 IEEE.
