abstract
This paper analyzes the impact of narrowband interferences (NBI) on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) Ultra-Wideband (UWB) receivers. By analyzing the quantization noise of the analog to digital converter and the bias of the carrier frequency offset estimator, we find that the performance of OFDM-UWB receivers might be greatly degraded by NBI. These results suggest the need for finding a robust NBI suppression scheme for OFDM-UWB receivers.
