abstract
A liquid analog model (LAM) is presented as a new hydrological laboratory device for rainfall-runoff modeling. The model is applied to simulate Nash's model in the laboratory for real rainfall-runoff data. Due to its simple structure and ease of operation, LAM can be an effective educational tool for rainfall-runoff modeling. It seems that LAM can also be used for simulating other flow processes in the laboratory. 2007 ASCE.
