abstract

  • A possible experimental scheme for the implementation of a quantum walk was discussed. On the passage of an atom inside a high-Q cavity, the scheme was based. The atomic states were used to characterize the chirality and the photon number inside the cavity was used to characterize the displacement. The appropriate interactions with a sequence of classical and quantized cavity fields were used to describe the quantum steps.
