Discussion on "New stabilization and tracking control laws for electrohydraulic servomechanism" uri icon

abstract

  • New stabilization and tracking control problems have been studied for electrohydraulic servomechanisms (EHSs) in [2]. A stabilizing control law of geometric type is designed, and this method is extended to the problem of EHS tracking control with shortcomings, furthermore, the backstepping method is proposed to solve this problem. This will lead a novel way to design controllers for EHSs. Meanwhile, there are several issues open to further study in [2], such as nonsmooth control via differential inclusions for partial derivative systems, actuator saturation, and optimal control. 2013 European Control Association.
