Electro-optically tunable vertically integrated chalcogenide interferometer on LiNbO3 Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • A vertically integrated As2S3 Mach-Zehnder interferometer side-coupled to a Ti:LiNbO3 waveguide is electro-optically tuned utilizing asymmetric coplanar strip electrodes along the chalcogenide path. Tuning of the TM polarization is demonstrated with V = 19.6 V. 2012 OSA.
