Impact of global recession in containerized agricultural shipments: A case study of Texas cotton Conference Paper

abstract

• This paper builds on previous work investigating least cost shipment and storage of cotton from Texas, the largest U.S. producer of cotton. The model is used to analyze the effects of reduced export demand on shipping patterns and costs to the overall cotton transportation system.
