DETECTION OF AGING IN THE RELIABILITY-ANALYSIS OF THERMAL GENERATORS

• This paper addresses the importance of ageing in the reliability analysis of repairable systems. Methodology for the detection of ageing is presented. This methodology is based on Manns nonparametric statistical tests for detection of trend. The technique is illustrated by application to ten thermal generating units on the Brazilian electric network. 1988 IEEE
