abstract
This paper is an extension of our previous paper on the magnetic attitude stabilization of satellites in circular low Earth orbits (LEO). Here we apply the pseudospectral control law to magnetic attitude control of satellites in eccentric LEO orbits. Our results show that three-axis magnetic attitude stabilization is achieved by using the pseudospectral control law via the receding horizon control in eccentric orbits. The maximum inertia axis should be set as roll or yaw axis and the residual librations errors are within 1 degree for the eccentricity 0.1.
