Performance analysis of the Palindrome Network Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • The performance evaluation for a fault-tolerant interconnection network referred to as the Palindrome Interconnection Network(PIN) using analytical model is presented. We propose a simplified routing algorithm which includes drop and hold models as its conflict resolution strategies. Under this simplified routing algorithm, we obtained the lower bound for the performance of the PIN. The result shows that the performance of the PIN under this simplified routing algorithm is comparable to that of its counterpart, Gamma network. 1998, Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
