A numerical method is presented for finding sign-changing solutions of the semilinear elliptic equation subject to Dirichlet boundary condition: -Δw = f(x,w) in Ω, w = 0 on ∂Ω, where Ω⊂RN is a bounded domain with regular boundary ∂Ω. The operator -Δ can be replaced by a more general second-order uniformly elliptical operator in divergence form. Several numerical examples are presented to illustrate the high-linking algorithm.
