abstract
Arc Hydro data model, a template for the storage of spatial and temporal hydrologic information was used for integrating hydrologic computer applications. The different objects of the system were assembled together by virtue of their connection to the river network or to each other. All models were connected independently of one another to a hub which was a database from which applications read input data and to which write output data. Hydrologic Model System (HMS) is a new generation hydrologic model developed by the US Army Corps of Engineers' Hrdrologic Engineering Center in Davis, California.
