abstract
The sejunctus species group is created for two Australian species of the split-footed lacewing genus Osmylops. The species group is characterised, Osmylops sejunctus (Walker) is redescribed and O. ectoarticulatus n.sp. is described. The male and female terminalia of both species are illustrated. Prior literature references to the species of the sejunctus group are clarified. Males and females of the sejunctus group possess coordinated, species-specific, suites of terminalic structures. The probable functions of these morphological structures during copulation are discussed.
