abstract
Shear waves propagated as a result of the diffraction of a broadband normally incident plane ultrasonic longitudinal pulse by a square periodic array of spherical elastic inclusions are measured at specific angles from the normal. As expected, peaks in the spectra were observed at frequencies given by the condition of constructive interference. (C) 2000 Acoustical Society of America.
