abstract
An overview to 'Advances in C1 chemistry in the year 2002' was presented. It was found that the main resources of C1 molecules were natural gas, coal, biomass and organic waste. The product synthesis from syngas, Fisher-Tropsch synthesis, synthesis gas, gas and liquid reforming, catalyst characterization and methane conversion were also elaborated.
