This paper describes a novel algorithm for application of modified Chebyshev Picard iteration (MCPI) to ordinary differential equation systems that intrinsically have associ-ated conserved quantities. MCPI may safely be applied to such systems without making use of this algorithm, but it is shown that the convergence rate may be accelerated, the domain of convergence may be expanded, or better ultimate solution accuracy for the same convergence threshold may be achieved by making use of the algorithm. Several examples of varying complexity explore the benefits of the new algorithm for constrained dynamical systems.
