abstract
An experimental evidence for generation of a broad collinear frequency modulation (FM) spectrum is presented. The generated spectrum consists of 17 mutually coherent sidebands that range from 2.94 m to 195 nm. It is shown that both phased and anti-phased adiabatic excitations produce larger modulation than the on-resonance excitation.
