Transport properties of HoxDy1-xNi2B2C single crystals

abstract

• The Nel temperature (TN) of the magnetic superconductor HoNi2B2C is below its superconducting transition temperature [1] (Tc) while DyNi2B2C becomes superconducting below the magnetic ordering temperature [2] (Tc < TN). HoxDy1-xNi2B2C demonstrates a rich interplay between superconductivity and magnetism as x is increased. Transport properties and the magnetic/superconducting phase diagram of single crystal HoxDy1-xNi2B2C are reported for different values of x. 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
