abstract
The temperature coefficient of resistivity, TCR, changes sign from positive to negative as the concentration of Ga in amorphous LaGa alloys increases. Measurements of the thermopower of samples with opposite signs for the TCR but not too different Ga concentrations are not in agreement with simplified versions of the Ziman theory. This coupled with a positive Hall coefficient suggests that a new theory of electrical transport may be needed for such materials. 1981.
