abstract
Measurements of the electrical resistivity (T), thermopower S(T), and Hall coefficient RH for a series of rapidly quenched Zr-Ni-Al alloys are reported for concentrations from x=0 to 0.25. The resistivity is large (200 cm) and increases with Al content as does RH, which is positive for all concentrations studied. The thermopower is positive but decreases in magnitude with Al concentration. A consistent qualitative explanation of the concentration dependence of, RH, and S is suggested. 1989 The American Physical Society.
