EVIDENCE FOR A PHASE-TRANSITION IN BIS(TETRATHIOTETRACENE) TRIIODIDE

abstract

• The specific heat of bis(tetrathiotetracene) triiodide has been measured from 20 to 65 K using thermal relaxation methods. An anomaly is observed at 50 K which is consistent with a mean field theory for a Peierls transition. 1980.
