Masses of 77Kr and 75Kr. Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • The masses of Kr77 and Kr75 were determined by measuring the Q values of the Kr80(3He,6He)77Kr, Kr78(d,t)77Kr, and Kr78(3He,6He)75Kr reactions. We find that the Kr77 and Kr75 mass excesses are -70.160(10) and -64.231(16) MeV, respectively. These new results are integrated into the total scheme of mass measurements in the light rubidium and krypton isotopes. Comparisons with several mass formulae are presented. 1987 The American Physical Society.
