abstract
A computer program that calculates and displays the skin factor during a matrix simulation treatment from the measured injection conditions is described. Called UTRTM (University of Texas Real-Time Monitoring), the program can be used in real-time to monitor the progress of a stimulation treatment or after completion of a treatment to analyze its effectiveness. Applications of this program for a variety of acid treatments demonstrate its value.
