abstract
The influence of natural fractures on the acid etching pattern was studied using two closely contacted rock samples. The samples were acidized with 13.5% HCl and then subjected to experiments to determine the etching pattern. Experimental results show that the acid etching pattern of naturally fractured formations depends strongly on the width of the natural fracture.
