A high-throughput impedance spectroscopy platform for characterizing concentration of cells within microdroplets Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • 14CBMS. We have developed a non-contact, label-free, and highly sensitive high-throughput microfluidic impedance spectroscopy platform for detecting and discriminating cell concentrations within microdroplets. Four different concentrations of cells (10, 20, 30, & 40% (v/v)) encapsulated in droplets were successfully distinguished through impedance spectroscopy at a measurement speed of 140 droplets/s.
