abstract
The demonstration of the inversionless gain and recent realization of the first laser without inversion feature a possibility to release requirements for an incoherent pumping due to the excitation of the low frequency atomic coherence leading to the suppression of the induced resonant absorption. An atomic coherence can therefore substitute the redistribution of the atomic populations. With a thermally equilibrium reservoir coupled with a three-level atoms and driven by the coherent resonant field, the distribution depends on the magnitude of the conversion factor.
