abstract
The strangeness-exchange reaction Y KN gives a satisfactory explanation to the recent experimental data on subthreshold K- production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions if the final state interaction of K- with the nuclear matter is taken into account. In particular the effect of the (1520) resonance is shown to be very important. 1984.
