abstract
The Q values for (He3, t) reactions on Mg26, S34, Ca42, Ti46, Cr50, and Fe54 have been measured relative to that for Al27(He3,a t)Si27. The results lead to significant deviations from pireviously accepted values for the -decay end-point energies of Sc42, V46, and Co54. The new ft values for these transitions now agree with other known superallowed transitions (A<40); only the decay of Mn50 remains anomalous. A limit is also set on the Z22 radiative correction term. 1974 The American Physical Society.
