abstract
The PK P+ ratio has been measured for the decay 130Cs{A figure is presented}130Xe(g.s.) by a method that utilizes comparison with the decay of 137Cs to reduce many sources of systematic error. The result, PK P+ = 1.025 0.022, does not disagree significantly from theory. Previously measured capture-to-positron ratios for medium-Z nuclei have shown large deviations from theory, and led to the proposal that the discrepancy increases smoothly with Z; the present results refute that possibility. The half-life of 130Cs was measured to be 29.21 0.04 min. 1981.
