A new nuclide, 35K, has been identified and its decay has been studied. Its half-life was determined to be 190 30 ms. Spectra of -delayed protons and -rays from the decay of this nuclide have been obtained. A decay scheme is proposed, taking into account 18 of the 19 observed -rays and 5 of the 10 observed proton groups. Log ft values have been deduced for 11 -transitions populating excited states in 35Ar. These values and the level structure in 35Ar are compared with shell-model calculations. 1980.
