abstract

  • The decay of Ba120 has been studied with an on-line isotope separator. Its half-life was determined to be t1/2=242 s. A decay scheme is proposed, based on -, -X, and -+ coincidence measurements, which takes account of all 16 observed rays. The total decay energy was measured to be QEC=500.3 MeV. 1992 The American Physical Society.
