abstract
Precise measurements are being used to test theoretical K-shell internal conversion coefficients (ICCs): in particular, our program has focused on examining whether the atomic K-vacancy formed during the conversion process must be incorporated into the calculations. We report here a measurement on the 65.66-keV, M4 isomeric transition in 119Sn. Our preliminary result is K=1610(27), which confirms the importance of including the vacancy in the ICC calculations. 2014 Elsevier Inc.
