Hadron production at RHIC: Recombination of quarks

abstract

• We discuss quark recombination applied to the hadronization of a quark gluon plasma. It has been shown that the quark recombination model can explain essential features of hadron production measured in high energy heavy ion collisions. 2005 IOP Publishing Ltd.
