abstract

• Evidence for Difference Frequency Generation in Quantum Cascade Lasers with integrated nonlinearities is presented. Light at the difference frequency ( = 13.3m) is detected from a twowavelength ( = 5.3m and 8.8m) laser processed with a splitridge configuration. 2006 Optical Society of America.
