Regularly varying rates of decrease for moduli of continuity and fourier transforms of functions on Rd Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • We describe the correspondence between rates of decrease for various moduli of continuity of a function on Rd and for the tail-integral of the function's Fourier transform. In place of a power function (e.g., t-x), we use a regularly varying function to describe the rates of decrease. 1991.
