Measurement Of The Absorption Coefficient Of Ocean Water Using Isotropic Illumination Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • For the measurement of optical absorption in the oceans, one needs a device that is rugged, accurate, independent of scattering effects, and has no critical alignment restrictions. Such a device using an integrating cavity to provide isotropic illumination of the sample, is described. 1988, SPIE.
