abstract

  • 2016 The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. It is a great pleasure to present this work in memory of Richard Arnowitt whose numerous fundamental contributions to general relativity, supergravity theory and phenomenology have been very important in the development of high energy physics. In this review, I describe my collaboration with Richard Arnowitt which started in 1998 and continued until 2014. The collaboration spanned various topics such as, understanding thermal dark matter in the context of supergravity models, investigating SUGRA models in the g-2 excess, direct detection, rare decay experiments, new techniques to realize models at the LHC, ILC and construction of realistic string models.
