abstract

  • Heavy ion induced plasma desorption mass spectrometry was used with a micro-beam in a scanning mode. A 10 m diameter 84 MeV 84Kr+7 beam was used for the desorption. A target of NaCl and KCl microcrystals was scanned relative to the beam. Mass spectra were obtained as a function of position on the sample. 1983.
